Services at little or no cost to THFCU members

THFCU makes getting cash and making purchases
almost anywhere safe and easy. Our 24 hour ATM
is free for our members.

Because THFCU is a nonprofit institution owned by it’s members, we are able to offer a wide variety of services at little or no cost. Most of our share draft services are free and members can access their accounts in person, by phone, or online 24-hours a day at thfcu.org. And, because a share draft is also a deposit account, THFCU pays dividends on balances.

THFCU makes financial transactions and management convenient with a VISA card that has no annual fee and a 24-hour drive-up ATM — a service that is also free to members. Our ATM
Co-Op Network has more than 19,500 ATMs across the country that members can use without a surcharge.

Another benefit of membership — Life Savings Insurance and Loan Protection

Life Savings Protection

Your Credit Union offers this financial protection for your family at no direct expense to you. The premium is paid by THFCU and there is no medical exam required to qualify. The insurance offered is equal to the insurable balance in your eligible accounts, up to a policy maximum. As long as you maintain an eligible account, you retain your Life Savings Insurance.

Loan Protection

Loan Protection Insurance gives members the assurance that their outstanding loans will be paid if they were to die. This protection is provided to members at no direct charge. And enrollment in our Loan Protection is automatic … there’s no insurance application, physical examination, or inconvenient paperwork.

Share Draft Service Fees

(Effective June 1, 2008)

Account Balancing Assistance - $15.00 per hour (1/2 hour minimum)

Account Research Request - $15.00 per hour (1/2 hour minimum)

Check Printing - Price may vary depending on style of check

Nonsufficient Funds Return - $25.00 per item

Nonsufficient Funds Paid - $25.00 per item

Nonsufficient Funds Transfer - $2.00 per item

Returned Check - $5.00 per item

Service Charge:

Truncated - $1.00 per month

Drafts Back - Paper Image - $5.00 per month, plus $0.10 per draft
Compact Disc - $8.00 per month, plus $.10 per draft

Share Draft Copy - $2.00 per item

Stop Payment - $5.00 per item or $20.00 per series

Stop Payment Removal - $2.00

Telephone Transfer Fee - No charge
